Ura, sauver l’oiseau sacré des Australes
In Rimatara, French Polynesia, the ‘ura almost disappeared. Through community mobilization and a strict conservation program, the small parakeet is back on track to balance. This initiative even helped bring the ‘ura back to a neighbouring island in the Cook Islands.
